On the road to Kyoto
2019, Kyoto, Japan.
For me, Japan is an almost perfect world. I like the japanese people’s relationship with the world around them: their respect for nature, their relationship to time with a certain idea of slowness, the attention they give to details in their refined, delicate handcrafts …
I wanted to remember all this and tried to capture it with my Polaroïd camera during my voyage to Kyoto.
